ADB approves $2 million flood-recovery grant for southern Thailand
The Asian Development Bank says its emergency grant will support public-health services and affected communities following severe flooding in southern Thailand.
The Asian Development Bank says it has approved a $2 million grant to help Thailand expand humanitarian assistance for communities affected by severe flooding in the south. The support comes through the Asia Pacific Disaster Response Facility.
Where the support is directed
ADB says the grant will support the continuing response, including Hat Yai Hospital, local public-health units and direct assistance to affected communities. A grant handover was held in Songkhla Province on 10 July.
The bank says the November 2025 floods affected 12 provinces, more than 100 districts and over 3.8 million people, with Songkhla hit hardest. Homes, roads and critical infrastructure, including Hat Yai Hospital, were affected.
