Bloomberg said TPG-backed [Asia OneHealthcare](https://asiaonehealth.com/?ref=southeastasiaconnect.com) confidentially filed a draft registration statement with Malaysia’s Securities Commission for a potential Kuala Lumpur IPO.

According to people familiar with the matter cited by [Bloomberg](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-09-02/tpg-s-asia-onehealthcare-is-said-to-confidentially-file-for-2-5-billion-ipo?ref=southeastasiaconnect.com), the offering could raise about RM10 billion, or US$2.5 billion, and may draw interest from other hospital operators and private-equity firms.

The report describes a confidential filing, not an approved, priced or guaranteed transaction. [Bloomberg](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-09-02/tpg-s-asia-onehealthcare-is-said-to-confidentially-file-for-2-5-billion-ipo?ref=southeastasiaconnect.com) said the deliberations are ongoing and the size and timing could change.

[Asia OneHealthcare](https://asiaonehealth.com/?ref=southeastasiaconnect.com) and [TPG](https://www.tpg.com/?ref=southeastasiaconnect.com) declined to comment to Bloomberg. For regional healthcare operators and investors, the development is a signal to watch for a formal prospectus, regulatory milestones and any confirmed transaction terms.

A confidential filing is a common early step in a possible listing process, but it leaves the public with limited detail. It does not establish the final valuation, investor demand, structure, timetable or whether an offer will ultimately take place.

The reported size would be notable for Kuala Lumpur’s capital market if it proceeds. That is the SEA Connect angle: a large listing can determine whether a regional healthcare platform gains public-market capital for its next phase, while giving other operators, founders and investors a reference point for valuations, exit routes and growth financing.

For hospital groups and investors, the useful signals will be more concrete than the filing itself: any published financial record, the mix of markets and facilities, use of proceeds, cornerstone demand and the terms of a formal prospectus.

SEA Connect will treat any future filing, price range or listing date as a separate confirmation event rather than assuming the reported plan will proceed. This report is intentionally framed as Bloomberg-reported preliminary information.
