# ChatGPT’s teen experience begins rolling out to Singapore

OpenAI’s new ChatGPT experience for teenagers is beginning to roll out to Singapore, adding age prediction, extra content safeguards and optional controls that parents and teens can link together.

## What changes for teen accounts

OpenAI says its age-prediction system may use account signals to determine whether a user is under 18\. Accounts placed in the teen experience receive additional limits around sensitive or age-inappropriate content, while adults who are classified incorrectly can verify their age. ## How family controls work

## Why the Singapore rollout matters
