Klook's AI Agent Moves From Travel Advice to Changing Merchant Prices and Inventory
Merchants can ask K.ai for booking histories and batch product or order checks through Klook's portal.

The release does not explain permission checks or error handling for consequential changes to merchant prices.
On 3 November, Klook announced a phased global introduction of K.ai ahead of year-end travel.
That distinction matters for Southeast Asia's fragmented tours, attractions and experiences sector. Many small operators juggle limited staffing, changing availability and multiple sales channels. Automating routine changes could free staff to focus on customers and reduce the delay between a pricing decision and its execution on Klook.
Booking checks, listings and price changes
Klook gives an example of a merchant asking for last week's bookings, then instructing the system to raise weekend prices by 10%. K.ai can apply the change in the merchant portal. The product also assists with listing creation and surfaces insights from reviews and performance dashboards.
Klook has not specified how many Southeast Asian merchants have access or provided country-by-country rollout dates.
Klook reports that early users completed individual inventory and pricing updates 95% faster, and batch product, inventory and order checks 97% faster. It also says merchants using the agent recorded 3.4 times the monthly bookings of non-users. These are company-reported comparisons, not independently verified evidence that the agent caused higher sales; the release does not disclose sample sizes or controls for merchant differences.
For tour operators, the practical questions are how the agent handles permissions, checks consequential price changes and resolves errors. The release does not detail these safeguards. K.ai illustrates a shift from AI as a customer-facing travel discovery tool to AI that can change the underlying commerce operations.
