# Tech Data adds Wasabi cloud storage for Singapore and Malaysia partners

Tech Data has signed a distribution agreement with Wasabi Technologies covering Singapore and Malaysia. The companies said the arrangement gives resellers and managed-service providers local access to cloud storage products for backup, archive, disaster recovery and ransomware protection.

## What changed

The portfolio includes Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage for frequently accessed data, Cloud NAS for file-based workflows and Surveillance Cloud. [Tech Data](https://www.techdata.com/sg/?ref=southeastasiaconnect.com) also pointed to integrations with backup and recovery products from Veeam, Commvault and Rubrik.

## Why it matters
