Delta Electronics said it officially opened a new office in Johor Bahru, expanding its presence in Malaysia beyond existing operations in Petaling Jaya and Penang. The company said the office reflects a long-term commitment to the Malaysian market and is intended to support customers and partners across the southern economic corridor.
The company said the office is strategically located in the Southern Industrial and Logistics Clusters (SiLC), Iskandar Puteri, placing Delta in a growing industrial hub and the Johor-Singapore economic corridor. Delta linked the move to investment in data centres, advanced manufacturing, and digital infrastructure, and said its portfolio includes power, cooling, automation, and digital infrastructure solutions.
Delta also said it will host Delta Future Forward 2026 in Kuala Lumpur on July 30. According to the company, the forum will discuss the ecosystem needed for AI-driven growth in Malaysia, with a theme of building a resilient, energy-efficient future and topics including resilient power infrastructure, advanced cooling technologies, intelligent manufacturing, and supply chains.
Delta said discussions will cover support for AI growth at scale, including data centre infrastructure, energy efficiency, advanced manufacturing, supply chain resilience, and Malaysia's regional AI value chain position. Attendees will also be able to view demonstrations of AI data centres, microgrid-to-data centre energy systems, and smart manufacturing technologies.
