ESR, the Indonesia Investment Authority and their capital partners are jointly investing in two logistics facilities in Cikarang and Cibitung, Greater Jakarta, the partners said on 11 August.

What happened

A groundbreaking ceremony started work on ESR Cikarang Logistics Park 4 in Jababeka. The Grade A warehouse is planned for completion in 2027. The partners also announced the three-storey ESR Cibitung Distribution Hub in MM2100 Industrial Town, planned for completion in 2028. Indonesia Investment Authority

The release says both facilities are designed with high clear heights and floor loading that can support automation. It also outlines planned energy-efficiency features and provision for renewable energy. Those features and completion dates remain project plans until construction and certification are complete.
