Singapore’s Government Technology Agency says its STACK Conference has evolved from a developer-focused event into a forum for the wider technology ecosystem. The agency traces that shift to the growing role of reusable government platforms, cloud infrastructure, data and artificial intelligence in public digital services.

GovTech says the 2026 edition is the fifth STACK conference and will be held on 4 and 5 November. Its published themes include AI autonomy beyond chatbots, data-enabled user experience, engineering productivity, sustainable cloud and digital safety and inclusion.

The agency links the conference to the Singapore Government Tech Stack, a collection of shared platforms, infrastructure, APIs and common services used by agencies. That is a public-sector operating model, not a claim about the outcomes of any individual project.

What to watch

The immediate signal is a dated agenda for how Singapore is framing its next digital-government phase: shared infrastructure remains central, with AI, trusted data and engineering practice now presented alongside it.
